Always switch off and isolate the mains power supply before carrying out maintenance work on equipment.

Sheppee International strongly recommends that only trained or authorised personnel carry out any work on equipment. They should always be aware of any potential danger that may present to them and others.

Generally equipment is supplied with a full set of safety guards, once fitted they must not be removed unless access is required by trained and authorised personnel who are aware of the risks exposed to themselves and others.

Note: Always be aware of the potential danger which may be present in and around the glass forming production environment i.e. hot surfaces, moving parts and glass fragments.

Ensure that at all times appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) is worn when working on equipment.
